TITLE: | Embedding machine Learning in a Systematic Review System. |
PRESENTER: | Oana Frunza University of Ottawa |
ABSTRACT:
Systematic Reviews - summaries of research in the medical domain - are of
great importance for healthcare providers. The amount of information in
medical repositories increases at a tremendous rate. Systematic Review
Systems help healthcare providers to keep up-to-date with all the research
relevant to various topics of interest. In this talk, I will give a brief
overview of what a Systematic Review is, how it is done, and most
importantly, where can Machine Learning techniques help in a Systematic
Review System.
