This talk presents a prototype system developed to assist biologists to verify genetic expression knowledge. The system is based on a Prolog program that queries a database containing gene expression data. The approach taken is based on the theory revision. Experimental gene expression data form a DNA chip is represented in a simple, understandable relational language. In the talk we describe the necessary biological background, the preprocessing of the data, the design of the system, and some preliminary results.
